When to Find Happy Holidays in Florence

   We here in Florence wish everyone joy during this holiday season. Come and visit our beautiful little winter wonderland. The advertisers here would like you to know their winter hours so you can plan your holiday adventures accordingly. I have also listed my favorite restaurants because one must be well nourished for their adventures.

Most of our other wonderful merchants close Sundays and/or Mondays during the winter. And here are the hours for my favorite Restaurants. Remember, too, that our Super D Grocery has fabulous soup and a great deli, Domino’s has super sandwiches and, of course, pizza, and we have a Subway and a Carl’s Junior – so you won’t go hungry on any day you come to visit.

The annual Downtown Merchants Holiday Celebration is December 8 featuring live holiday entertainment, Santa, stores open till seven and a great old time country concert at the Rialto Theatre. (With cookies and punch in most of the shops!) And don’t forget the Pickle Contest. Don’t know what that is? Come on down and find out.
