As many of you may have noticed we have been evolving.
Due to a stroke I had in late March of this year, I have been more and more dependent on my son Sam to deliver our monthly issue of The Mountain States Collector.
I always hoped one of my children might want to continue producing our monthly newspaper. Sam and his wife Shaleen have stepped up to help us continue on with this very special publication.
Sam and Shaleen are also busy with their own publication Urban Life Wash Park. (Not to mention they are in the middle of raising our beautiful grandchildren.) They have done a great job with their own publication. I am lucky to have someone who has the experience and interest in keeping the Mountain States Collector (MSC) alive. They understand how dedicated I have always been to publishing MSC. It’s amazing how producing and creating this newspaper has been a way to stay young andkeep my mind active. In addition, my husband Jon and I just finished our first book collaboration “Becoming American.” It seems my stroke was unable to take me out completely. My brain cells are still connecting. Some stroke victims aren’t as lucky as I have been. I’m on the mend and with my son’s help I plan to continue with the production of the Mountain States Collector.
Thank you everyone for your continued support. I hope you always enjoy the “Collector.”
