The next time you visit Denver’s Historic Antique Row, 1100’s through 1800′ South Broadway, be sure to dive into their wide variety of restaurants and eateries. They offer great food and great shopping. The following is a brief summary of what is there.

Homemade everything. Baked from scratch deliciousness is what this wonderful Argentina Cafe and Bakery offers. “I remember years ago the aroma of our home in Bueno Aires when my mom would take her freshly baked empanadas out of the oven. No one could resist,” says Lorena Cantarovici. Maria Empanada uses only the best ingredients for their empanadas, tartas, Spanish tortillas, and salsas so they can bring a little of their home to you.

At La Cour, Denver’s Art Bar you will find a place where music, original art, delicious food and drinks are a part of everyone’s life, everyday. (Not to mention dancing.) This French Bistro is a unique gathering place. They feature easy food, with a local and fresh rotating menu and a rotating art exhibit. Their patio has a bar style fire pit and a cozy place inside for wintertime. It’s a bar, restaurant and gallery with a French flair. They also serve a great brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM and are available for private parties.

Black Crown is a very special piano lounge. It brings together fine cocktails and wine and a  small plate menu to satisfy your cravings, great music and shopping. The Blue Bonnet is a family owned and operated authentic Mexican restaurant on historic South Broadway in Denver. The restaurant was established in the 1930s and upon purchase by the Mobells in the 1960s, transformed into the fresh, award-winning eatery run by the owner’s son and daughter to this day.

Adelitas Cocina y Cantina brings traditional Mexican fare, and tequila cocktails to your Platte Park neighborhood on Historic Denver’s Antique Row. They are a dual family owned, and operated company. They have made a collaborative effort to bring you a relaxing, comfortable, safe, and enjoyable atmosphere, along with traditional Mexican food from the state of Michocan, Mexico.

They offer Brunch (Saturday & Sunday), Lunch, and Dinner 7 days a week, and a late night menu to satisfy your late night cravings.  They intend to operate as a family orientated restaurant, but do not worry, after 9pm they dim the lights, and provide you with a warm, relaxing environment.

They chose the Adelitas name to pay tribute to their mothers who inspire them to share their traditional family recipes, refreshing cocktails, and a relaxing and safe environment.

If it’s a sports bar you want then the Dive Inn is one of Denver’s best venues. They are a cozy dive bar, a big screen sports bar and a lively game bar all in one. The Dive Inn Galley in-house taqueria serves up traditional Mexican favorites made from authentic recipes. Snack on some chicharrones or bring on the heat with their real green chili – from taco to tortas. The Galley has got your hunger covered.

The bar’s nautical theme was inspired by the owner’s numerous trips as a teenager to Cozumel, where he opened a dive shop after high school. At the Dive Inn, photos from deep-sea fishing trips share space in the back room with foosball and pool tables and a second bar. The place also sports a taqueria and 2,500 square feet of patio space.
