Covet Decor, is described as “Junk Elevated” and began as a result of the success Dawn Pfefferle had with her booths in the Homestead Antique Mall in Arvada and the Lafayette Collectibles and Antique Mall in Lafayette.
The beautiful upcycled, repurposed and reimagined furniture which fills her store was overflowing in their home and she told her husband Craig it was time to get it out and start their own business. Though they do not focus on restoration or refinishing, they paint furniture, upcycle, repurpose and recreate it and they help their customers do it as well. The recreations are also mixed with quality vintage and rustic pieces including a beautifully repurposed barn yard door.
Great features of the store are the numerous coffee tables and end tables which Craig has made from sustainable beetle kill wood. The 1550 square store is filled with beautiful recreations and outstanding decor and accessories items, the likes of which are hard to find in one place.
You can also find a full line of quality chalk based paint and brushes for do it yourselfers or they will do it for you.
